magnolio

Hello, in this blog I will go to talk about my favourite song. First, Really this topic is very confused for me because more than a specific song I feel that I got many many many favourite songs for each time of my life and of many different styles of music. I think that I love to much the music so in this time just I will tell you about the one more recent maybe (relatively)  And that was a big landmark in my life.
The song have the name "Tonada de la luna llena" and is a composition of the musician of Venezuela Simón Díaz. Simón Díaz is composer and interpreter very important for the folklore music of his country (maybe the most important). He dedicated his life to work and explored traditional rhythms like Joropo, Tonada llanera, Gaita zuliana and etc.
When I listened to "Tío Simón" in the first time with this song I felt very strange, very affect and deeply astonish. My body frozen and something in my mind told me that I dont must to move.
I thing that this song I really really amanzing, inexplicable. Even today I cant understand how is so apparently simple, economic and so strange in his rhythm, in the way of Simón singing, the way how he whisper here, the lyrics, the recording, the exactly contribution of the egg shakers, etc.
My head exploted. I listened this song for months ( even today sometimes) and I sang and whispered every day too. For a lonnnng time
In a little more time I met my actually lover who has the same song madly clinging in the head and every day when we start to know about us we listened at least one time this song at the same time :) The end, bye!

  1. What a coincidence! Just today I heard while lunch and I've been singing all day. I like so much because it has a beautiful melody and lyrics.
